At 80 I take stock of following my path for over 60 years
I paint privately without fanfare. I struggle to verbalise the thoughts that close in on me; therefore, I work slowly, sifting, revising, discarding, and hesitantly trying to open up to myself those fleeting ideas.
The structure of music, nature, mythology and echoes of art history, amongst a few Idée fixe, from this and much more, I weave a dense web.
